History
History
About 102 years ago, this temple was established by the residents of Ladang Kalumpung (Section 19). At that time, the temple had only statues of Lord Ganesh, Murugan and Amman. From the past to the present, this temple has successfully become an attraction for visitors and devotees who visit here especially during the Pangguni Uthiram festival.
Significance
The temple located at the exit to the Tanjong Malim toll is an attraction for tourists and Hindus in Hulu Selangor because of the Pangguni Uthiram Thiruvila festival. During this festival, hundreds of devotees will pay obeisance to Lord Murugan by taking paal kudam, balding the head and taking kavadi
