History
History
The god Sri Maha Muniandy Alayam is a temple created by the landowner, En Rasamah more than 25 years ago. This temple has been placed on a hill on the side of the road. It is more popular among Kota Tinggi devotees who are in the immediate vicinity of the temple , and devotees from areas such as Mersing and Johor Bahru. In 1997, the landowner met a Yogi on the hill and decided to build a temple there. Further, a lump of stone planted on the land started growing bigger and bigger over time and this prompted the landowner build the other temples. Many devotees began to visit this place and gave funds to further enlarge the temple. In 2012, the devotees collaborated to further add another 5 more gods such as Vinayagar, Anjineyar, Dato (Chinese Temple), Muniswarar and Madurai Veeran in this temple.
Significance
The Annual Festival is held on Christmas Day. Further, the beauty of the view from the top of the hill and the beauty of the area has managed to attract many devotees to the temple.
