History
History
This temple is located near the town of Tanjong Malim. This temple building is located on land owned by KTM until 2012 and is now referred to as RAC (Railway Assets Corporation) This temple was built by KTM employees around the 1940s and 1950s. At that time, most of his followers stayed at home, better known as KTM quarters. The KTM company at that time only charged RM 10 as land rental. Strong proof that this temple was created by KTM workers is the toilet. Where the KTM workers' toilet was repaired and used as a toilet for the temple to this day in the form of a modern toilet. It is estimated that 500 to 800 people come to the Krisna Jayanthi festival in the 50's and 60's. Since it was built, this temple has been administered by most KTM station master employees as Chairman. Originally this temple was built with wood and then from the contribution of believers from Hulu Bernam and Tanjong Malim, a large and beautiful temple was built. Now this temple is legally valid and registered with ROS
Significance
1. This temple is located on the border between the states of Perak and Selangor and therefore its followers consist of the Tanjong Malim district in Perak and the Hulu Bernam district in Selangor. The parade (ratham) in conjunction with the annual Krishna Jayanthi festival involves two states. The parade permit involves the Kuala Baharu police headquarters and Slim River police headquarters. 2. Krishna Jayanthi parade involves 5 carts brought to Tanjong Malim area and Ulu Bernam area. The cart was pulled by a rope by both believers from Hulu Bernam district (Selangor) and Tanjong Malim district (Perak)
