History
History
About 184 years ago, this temple was built by the local community for their faith. Information about the founder of the temple was a Gurkha who registered the temple land and managed the temple. During the existence of the Gurkhas, they slaughtered buffaloes for the Gods because they believed that the temple had a good aura. Devotees who are unhealthy and childless are blessed with good health. Kumbaabhisegam will be held in 2023 after the construction of the temple.
Significance
The belief in this temple is that they believe that what they pray for will happen and the God will bless them with good health. Ratham oorvalam will happen at the time of thiruvizha in the temple. There is Jothidam reading in this temple.
